The Slayer Throng
Ahh - finally the entire throng of Slayers are painted. Not saying there may be no more to join, but when I bought the Demonslayer way back in 1990 it all started from there and the dwarf army began. Once I finished Ungrim, well, the rest just had to be finished, and with some new paints and brushes and a bit of spare time, it had to be done.
It is kind of a relief and an achievement to have finally finished them all, as I started with only a small handful, which have always really fully represented dwarfs for me and the ferocity, determination and fighting prowess that they are known for. Slayers particularly with their berserk-like rage are for me the epitome of how dangerous a dwarf can become.

The command group were some of the first additions, with the second demonslayer a fair bit down the track, and the first handful were all still painted with enamels! After many years of travelling and sometimes tabletop time, a few touch ups with acrylics and washes were in order.
Wait a sec... Yep... there's one more. The fatty from 1990.
To the front line with ye!
