The first of the dwarves

Let's go back to some of the oldest modes I ever bought. These guys I just loved. My first ever Citadel models and I had no idea how to paint. The Dwarf Hero and Musician I first painted in enamels! In fact, I ruined many a miniature in the early days; painting the glug on so thick with a paintbrush the size of a fox tail you just couldn't see any detail afterwards. Worse, I used to coat them with gloss enamel. I was just lucky with these.

Well, they still have the original enamel, but have been touched up later with acrylics.
